Regional Promotional Flyer

When flyers looking like this start appearing, don’t be surprised. These flyers, being distributed to all Minnesota FIRST Robotics teams, are meant to be downloaded and sent to as many people as possible to draw attention to the upcoming competition. Sure, those are exciting pictures from last year’s competition, but we hope the flyer will bring plenty of curious visitors to Williams Arena to see this year's FIRST Overdrive action up close and personal!

FIRST in the Star Tribune

Minnesota FIRST Teams from Irondale, Minneapolis’ Patrick Henry High Eagan are profiled in “The Future Is Now,” a story about FIRST Robotics and the Minnesota Regional in the Star Tribune. The front-page article in the “Twin Cities” section focused on the efforts of rookie and second-year teams from around the metro. The article also investigates the reasons behind FIRST’s rapid growth in Minnesota, and details the financial support from large corporations, such as Medtronic, Inc., and Dr. Stephen Oesterle, who have helped take the Minnesota Regional from a dream to reality.
