Amenities include: Complimentary Wi-Fi, complimentary covered parking for both cars and buses, complimentary shuttle service to and from airport (10 minutes). Two pools, saunas, hot tub and three restaurants. Cut-off date: February 5, 2012. Rooms at the FIRST rate after that date will be dependent on availability.

Located one+ blocks from the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC) on Lake Superior. Amenities: Indoor pool and a heated outdoor pool, spa, and sauna. Evening campfire with s’mores and complimentary hot breakfast bar including make your own Belgium waffles. Complimentary wireless high-speed internet access. Parking for both cars and buses (please let them know if you will have a bus) is complimentary and there is a shuttle service available on request. The hotel is within short walking distance of numerous restaurants and activities in Canal Park. Cut-off date: Teams, room lists are due by January 5, 2012; rooms released after February 5, 2012.

Edgewater Resort & Waterpark

The Edgewater Resort & Waterpark is 3 miles from the DECC. Features a 30,000 sq. ft. indoor waterpark; 2,000 ft. arcade, heated outdoor pool and hot tub, fitness center and business center. Amenities include refrigerators, hair dryers, coffee makers, irons and ironing boards. Deluxe complimentary breakfast daily. Wireless internet is available in all rooms. Parking for cars and buses is free and there is a shuttle available. Four wristbands for waterpark included per room. The block will be released February 1, 2012. Rooms after that will be dependent on availability.
Room Rate: $99.00 - $159.00 + lodging tax. All rooms include up to (4) wristbands for the waterpark.
2012 Lake Superior Regional - Friday Night Team Social
Location: Grandma’s Sports Garden, 425 Lake Avenue South, in Canal Park one block from the DECC and Canal Park hotels
Food: Pizza, Spaghetti, Bonotta (specialty stuffed pizza), Salad, Beverage
Cost: $11 (includes tax)
Pay: Make checks payable to “Grandma’s Sports Garden”. Checks will be collected by Pit Administration on Thursday, March 8, 2012. At that time, you will receive wrist bands for those attending. Ask at Pit Adminstration if the event is filled; we will accept additional attendees as space allows.
Who can attend: Team members, their mentors and chaperones.

2012 Lake Superior Lunch at the DECC!
The DECC again this year offers FIRST Teams attending the Lake Superior Regional the option of purchase a cafeteria-style lunch. For only $9 a ticket, attendees can enjoy a sit-down, hot lunch break, without having to step outside the venue. Vegetarian options are available as well. Please read the informational flyer before downloading the Lunch Order Form. Orders and payment are due by March 2, 2012.
